John liked the hike to the "Gratto" on the 5th of July.

CJ feeding the animals at Thanksgiving Point. Although 2 days later we spent 6 hours at the museum....Mostly waiting for CJ. She loved that place.
CJ donated her hair when we were in Utah. She has also lost her two front teeth. "Talk about growing up fast! " She likes her new hair cut and the only request she had as she was getting her hair cut was ..."If its a boy make it short." or in other words if a little boy gets her hair cut make his hair short

CJ your hair, I LOVE!!! It is so beautiful. How wonderful of you to donat your hair.

John, I have not been in the outdoors yet this summer. The hike looks fantastic. Wish I could have been with you!

If you two have any more teeth fall out you will need to start eating baby food!

CJ of course you were busy with the animals. You would save or bring home ANY dog, cat, bird, bug, ant, fish, worm in need. You love them all.

John - heard any good jokes lately?

Dear Darlene,

I am writing this long letter to let you know that even though you have an above averagely busy life, and that your hubby is gone much more than most peoples', nine months is way to long to go without a blog update. The way I figure it, if you don't call Jane for a week, you will have probably saved enough time to make a blog post. Has CJ's hair grown? What about John's baptism. Was I the only person not there so you don't have anyone wanting to see pictures? How WAS Christmas by the way? Rainy winter? Snow on the mountains? I bet it was a beautiful view from your house. I wish I could have seen it. Snow on the So Cal mountains was always such a oxymoron. I bet the hills are really green now and pretty with wild flowers. Do you guys ever get out to see them? Take a camera? We've done a lot of skiing this winter. You can see lots of pictures and even some great video on our blog: http://www.rwguthrie.blogspot.com .With our kids grown we have a bit more time; I update about every two weeks. I even check Jarom's even though he lives with us, and we post comments on each other's blogs. Funny huh! Well. I hope that someday you get a chance to read this, and I hope that someday your life gets less hectic enough to give us an update. WE LOVE YOU GUYS!
